What data is processed, and why
Visiting the site
When you open a page, the hosting provider automatically processes the technical data needed to deliver it: your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser and device type. This keeps the site running and secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These logs are kept by the hosting provider for a short, limited period.
Fonts
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address to Google when a page loads. Legal basis: legitimate interest in displaying the site consistently (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Visitor statistics (Google Analytics)
Only if you allow cookies, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand how it is used: which pages are visited and when, the approximate location (country, city), device and browser type, and how you arrived. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. The data is kept in Google Analytics for the retention period set there, at most 14 months.
Booking an intro (cal.com)
The booking calendar on the contact page is provided by Cal.com, Inc. and loads only if you allow cookies, because it sets its own. If you book a call, the details you enter (name, email address, notes and the chosen time) are processed by Cal.com and forwarded to me so the meeting can take place. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). I keep these details for as long as needed to arrange and follow up on the meeting.
If you write to gregzi@gregzi.com, I process your name, email address and the content of your message to reply. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, or legitimate interest in answering you (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). Messages are kept until the conversation is closed; if it leads to a contract, related documents are kept for as long as Hungarian accounting and tax law requires (8 years).
Settings stored in your browser
Your language choice and your cookie choice are saved in your browser's local storage so the site remembers them. They never leave your device and are not used for tracking.
Cookies
gregzi.com sets no cookies of its own. Cookies are set only by the services below, and only after you allow them:
- _ga, _ga_F48RZG4EE4 - Google Analytics, visitor statistics, valid for up to 2 years
- Cal.com cookies - set by the booking calendar on the contact page while it is in use
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before it.
